May Ann E. Aldemita

E-commerce & Marketing Operations

I keep online stores accurate, marketing running and operations documented. Shopify catalogs, Klaviyo email QA, SEO content, Canva creative and reporting, with repeatable workflows I build in Claude and Claude Code.

What I do

The day-to-day work that keeps a store selling

Shopify catalog & merchandising

Listings, pricing updates, collections, product data and live-page checks, from one product to a full catalog.

Klaviyo email QA

Triggers, audience filters, subject-line variables and every link checked before a flow goes live, then a live test.

SEO & product content

Keyword research, product and blog copy, meta titles, internal links, and claims checked against the manufacturer's own sources.

Canva creative & social

Branded social posts, banners, email graphics and short video, plus the content calendar that keeps them on schedule.

Reporting & audits

GA4, Search Console and Looker Studio reporting, plus Excel and Google Sheets workbooks for pricing, freight and data checks.

Claude & Claude Code workflows

Recurring checks turned into documented, repeatable runs, so the same work is done the same way every time.

Shopify · Content quality

A full-catalog content audit

1,223 product listings, checked line by line.

The goal
Find every hidden formatting and content problem across the catalog, listing by listing, without breaking anything that already worked.
What I did
  • Exported every description in bulk and checked each one for defects.
  • Logged every issue by type in a per-listing matrix. For example, 513 listings had images with no alt text and 224 had a spec table that breaks on mobile.
  • Checked the flagged items in a real browser before anyone changed anything.
Result
A findings report and a step-by-step fix guide the team works from. The browser checks caught three false positives. "Fixing" one of them would have broken section navigation on 463 pages.

Klaviyo · Email QA

Lifecycle email QA before launch

13 order and shipping flows built by an outside agency.

The goal
Check every flow end to end before it went live, so no broken link or blank variable reached a customer.
What I did
  • Audited every flow in three passes: triggers, audience filters, subject-line variables, links and buttons.
  • Found auto-linked junk URLs, buttons with no link, an out-of-date sales pitch and subject lines that rendered blank.
  • Rewrote 34 emails, applied them myself and checked each one after saving.
  • A live test order then showed the order data arrived before the tags the flows filtered on.
Result
The timing bug would have stopped every order-placed flow from sending. The filter was switched to product collections and confirmed working live. I also wrote a testing SOP (preview, test send, live trigger) for the next flows.

  • Pass Trigger: order placed, one ship method per flow
  • Fix Audience filter on order tags, which arrive after the event
  • Fix Subject line variable renders blank, so a fallback was added
  • Fix "Track your order" button has no link
  • Rewrite Body copy: out-of-date offer removed
  • Pass Live test order received, all links open

Google Shopping · Product data

Barcode coverage for Google Shopping

More than 2,000 live product variants.

The problem
Most variants had no barcode (GTIN), which limits how products show up on Google Shopping. Some codes that were there sat on the wrong product.
What I did
  • Built an 8-tab tracker: coverage summary, master list, supplier outreach, data defects, verified this round, triage and new-product intake.
  • Recovered 226 codes from a manufacturer's own website without waiting on the supplier, loaded them with zero errors and read every one back.
  • Sent 16 supplier requests covering 868 items, and fixed codes and part numbers that had been mis-assigned.
Result
Live barcode coverage rose from 40.2% to 57.4% of variants in four weeks, with every write proved by a separate read.

Pricing · Competitor research

A repeatable competitor price watch

Every variant, every other week, with a source link for every price.

The goal
A fair, repeatable comparison: competitor prices change often and product names rarely match across stores, so it has to be done variant by variant, with proof.
What I did
  • Built the watch as a Claude Code skill. It matches products on brand, series, part number, size and capacity rather than on names, and flags uncertain matches for review.
  • Every quote links to the exact page it was read from, and shipping is added in where the store publishes it.
  • Big swings are re-read before they're reported. That safeguard stopped a false 25% "undercut" from reaching the owner.
Result
The latest run covered 37 products, 345 variants and 388 competitor quotes with 100% source-link coverage. The owner gets a short outliers note, with the workbook as the archive. Findings led to a repricing of one product line (32 variants) and caught a listing priced in error.

Operations · Freight

Freight invoices audited before payment

18 invoices and 55 shipments so far, each matched to its Shopify order.

The goal
Check every freight invoice before it's paid, and raise only the charges the store didn't book.
What I did
  • Built a fixed set of 20 checks: arithmetic, duplicate references, residential fees on business addresses, reweighs, accessorial charges against the rate card and fuel drift.
  • Matched every shipment to its Shopify order through the PO reference, in a per-invoice workbook and a rolling master.
  • Raised only charges the store hadn't requested. Two flagged addresses failed a map check and were dropped before anything was sent.
Result
One overcharge claim was filed and credited. A pattern of extra charges was traced to the booking tool's default settings and written into the booking SOP. When a finding of mine turned out wrong, I withdrew it and recorded the correction.

Product pages · Accuracy

Product pages that are right before they're persuasive

A written standard, then a live sweep of existing pages.

The problem
Supplier and agency copy carried old specs, expired offers and warranty lines the store couldn't stand behind.
What I did
  • Wrote the standard as a Claude Code command: verify specs against a five-level list of sources, park unknowns on a "needs verification" list, and only then write copy.
  • Each page gets a short strategy first: who buys it, their objections, what competitors say and what the images need to show.
  • 42 numbered self-checks run before any copy is handed over.
Result
A live correction sweep: 16 wording fixes across 8 fields on 4 product pages and 1 article, each matched exactly and with a rollback file kept. It included a warranty line on 3 products that implied the store's own warranty, with the wrong term.

Social & creative

A 30-day social plan for a multi-park campground group

Spec work: a full 30-day approach, with three sample posts made in Canva. The brand shown, "Cedar Hollow Campground", is invented for this portfolio.

Who it's for

  • Drive-time families
  • Snowbird RV travellers
  • One-night interstate stopovers
  • Pet owners

Rhythm

  • Five content pillars: the park, the local area, people, practical help, offers (under a fifth of the feed)
  • Per park per week: 3 Facebook posts (2 mirrored to Instagram) and 2–3 Stories, plus a monthly Reel
  • "The portfolio owns the theme, the park owns the proof": every shared post carries a local detail

How it runs and is measured

  • Meta Business Suite Planner plus a Sheets calendar, with one weekly batch approval
  • A monthly photo and news intake from park managers, and comments answered twice a day
  • Reach, interactions, UTM clicks and follower change, plus one single-variable test a month (boosted posts excluded)
